An Overview of the Red Deer Cruise Night

The Red Deer Cruise Night is a regular event that intends to bring together all the car lovers in the region, along with their families and friends. Every Thursday from 6-9 pm in Red Deer, Alberta from May to October a wide variety of gorgeous vehicles are put on display. It doesn’t matter if you own an old car or not, everyone has a special place at the event that counts on over 300 vehicles every night. Furthermore, they promote a comfortable and family-friendly environment where anyone can learn about antique vehicles, from bikes to cars and even trucks.

What Happens at Cruise Night?

Proud owners of remarkable classic cruisers, trucks and tuner cars, along with low riders, custom rides, bikes and others set up for the enjoyment of those who come. In addition to that, visitors can experience the community’s involvement with vendors, and music and culture from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
Other attractions for visitors include bouncy castles for children, food vendors, car specialists, exclusive parts and resources for specific vehicles, prizes and more. Enthusiasts can appreciate all of this with a selected playlist of the best music from the past decades played live by local artists.

The Red Deer Cruise Night goes beyond the passion for good-looking antique cars. The organizers of the festival are always trying to incorporate outstanding elements of the vintage culture into the special nights of celebration.

Charity Work

Despite offering people the opportunity to share their experiences about the “golden era” of cars, the event supports local charity institutions. They have raised over $100,000 through donations to support a few causes, including the Ronald McDonald House and the Food Bank of Red Deer.
